We have scheduled a date for the Food Service Sanitation Class: March 5th & March 12th. A lot of you have expressed interest in this class, but we need at least 10 people to sign up in order to hold it at our kitchen, so please sign up as soon as possible. More information is available in our calendar section.

Update: We're still in need of people interested in the Sanitation Class. Please sign up by this Monday", February 28th. If we do not have enough participants," we will reschedule for April. Thanks!

We'd like to thank everyone that stopped by our Open House. It was a pleasure both seeing familiar faces and meeting new people. Honestly, we were very encouraged by the number of people that stopped by and have shown interest and we wish we could have spent more time with everyone. If you would like to come back to see the kitchen again and discuss your needs, or couldn't make the Open House, we are, as always, available by appointment. We hope you are as excited about Kitchen Chicago and working together as we are.

There has been a lot of positive feedback regarding both a Food Service Sanitation class (a requirement to use our kitchen) and this summer's Farmers Markets. We will be in touch with interested individuals and post more information on our site as soon as we have more details, so be sure to keep an eye out.

We're happy to announce our first Open House on Sunday, Feburary 20! If you've been curious about Kitchen Chicago and how we can help you with your food business, stop by between 1pm and 5pm to see what we have to offer and meet some of your fellow chefs.

We are also organizing a Food Service Sanitiation class for those still seeking certification. This is a great way to get your City of Chicago certification (which is required to use our kitchen), so be sure to RSVP to reserve a space.
