Farmer's Market Application Info Needed!

We've finally received our application for the 2005 Farmers Market season. If you are interested in participating this year, we need some information from you this weekend. We've posted more information about how we'll be organizing the markets, along with the information we need from you. We know a lot of people were interested in participating, and we hope to hear from everyone soon!

NRA Show, May 21-24

If you missed the RBA event a few weeks back, you're in luck: the NRA show is just around the corner. No, not that NRA. The National Restaurant Association. From their site:

Attend the most comprehensive foodservice and hospitality event in North America. No matter what type of operation you run, NRA Show 2005 has what you need. Major areas of focus include food, beverage, equipment, smallwares, apparel, tabletop, furnishings, design, technology, and services.

More than 2,000 exhibiting companies from 100+ countries will demonstrate the latest products and technologies. Additionally, 60+ free education sessions will deliver solutions you can immediately put to work.

The show runs May 21 - 24, Saturday - Tuesday. Registration is $60 per person for all four days. We're planning on attending this show as well, so if you're interested in joining us, just let us know.

RBA's Marketplace 2005

RBA's Marketplace 2005 is coming to Chicago April 16-18. From their site:

RBA's Marketplace brings retail bakers, decorators, industry suppliers, educators and industry leaders from around the globe together at a single location. [...] Join your fellow baking professionals at the retail baking networking center and take advantage of the opportunity to meet face-to-face with thousands of bakery professionals and industry suppliers, and experience RBA's Professional Baker's Educational Programming.

Kitchen Chicago will be heading over to check it out. If you're interested in joining us or meeting up, just let us know. The price is just $60 for the whole weekend (or $50 if you purchase today, 4/1, the last day of early registration).
