There are a number of food related events coming up this spring. March 10th & 11th is the FamilyFarmed.org EXPO, an event focusing on "healthy, sustainable, locally produced food". May 7-9 is the large NASFT Fancy Food Show, a trade-only event with regional, national, and internation specialty food exhibitors. And May 20-23 is the NRA Show, featuring exhibitors in "food, beverage, equipment, smallwares, apparel, tabletop, furnishings, design, technology, and services."
Early registration discounts apply to some of these shows, so check them out soon.
Kitchen Chicago will be hosting a Farmer's Market Get-Together this Saturday, March 4th, at 4pm. The goal of this meeting is to provide a chance for people considering sharing table space at a market to meet one another and discuss any other market-related information.
